Jason
O'Brien, driver for the O'Brien Racing Team, began his
career in 1998 driving a 2 Man Cruiser Car. After 2 years he felt he
was ready to move up a class and into a Pro Street car. The first
year in the Pro Street class Jason finished 16th place and was awarded the
Rookie of the Year Award. His second year earned him the Most
Improved Driver of the Year as well as the Hard Charger Award. 2003
was Jason's 3rd year in the Pro Streets and what a great season it was.
Winning such titles as
2003 ProAm Tiny Lund Champion at Shelby County Speedway, 2003 ProAm King
of the Hill Winner at Adams County Speedway as well as two time Feature
Winner at Bull Valley Speedway. The season was a great success! In
2004 Jason competed in his 4th and final year in the Pro Street Class
winning the 2004 ProAm King of the Hill and earning 6th place overall for
the season.
In 2005 Jason
made another move into the Late Model class. In his rookie year he
captured his first late model win and finished 11th Place for the season at Adams County Speedway. In 2006 Jason and the
crew traveled to both Harlan and Corning to compete. In 2007 they
made appearances in Adams County and at NRP. O'Brien Racing is
kicking off the 2008 season in Calbert City, Kentucky at Kentucky Lake
Motor Speedway. The team has plans to travel to Eagle Raceway in
March and will race every Saturday night at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa.

Jason resides in his hometown, Atlantic,
Iowa, with his wife Beth and their 2 sons Tanner and Tyson. His
hobbies include racing, snowmobiling, hunting and spending time with his
family.
